Mission + Values:
Our mission is to serve as a leader in design patents, brand protection, and advocacy for small businesses. In addition to our extensive experience in these fields, we are constantly seeking to improve our services by staying on top of developments in the law, really listening to our clients’ stories, and aligning our legal objectives with our clients’ business goals.
We’re also committed to making legal information more accessible through education, volunteerism, and pro bono work. We volunteer as mentors at Mercy Corps Northwest, serve on the Board of Directors for Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and collaborate with local institutions to provide workshops on various intellectual property and business law topics.
Additionally, as a minority-, woman-, and queer-owned business, we’re here to empower our clients through sound legal advice, regardless of their age, race, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, current health, size, or immigration status.
We work expeditiously and efficiently to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients, whose needs always come first.
We use technology to streamline our workflow, improve your client experience, and make our services more cost-effective.
We’re honest about potential risks and results, we communicate clearly and often, and we never surprise our clients with legal bills.
We care deeply about the environment and animal welfare. Our law firm is entirely paperless and powered by plants.
We bank exclusively with a Partner in Justice of the Oregon Law Foundation, which uses the interest on our lawyer trust account for good.
We strive for excellence in everything we do—as lawyers, educators, and people—and welcome opportunities for learning and growth.
